The Vatac air & vacuum valve is designed to be used as discharging large volumes of air from the pipeline system when the pipeline is initially filled and after water column separation.

The Vatac Air Release Valves are constructed from rugged castings that are machined to exacting specifications. These bodies either have both threaded ends to International standards ASME or DIN, or with drilled flanges that are in accordance with ASME B16.1. Alternatively to EN, DIN, BS or JIS Standards.

Vatac offers a broad line of air valves including, but not limited to Automatic, Mirco Air Release, Combination, Single and Double orifice styles. Size ranges from 1/2”to12”NPS, Pressure Classes in PN10 or PN16

Vatac automatic air release valve releases accumulated air from the system while it is under pressure. The presence of air in a water system can reduce the effective cross sectional flow area resulting in increased pressure loss and deceased flow. Unwanted air may also cause water hammer and metering inaccuracies, while hastening corrosion
